In the near future, Blacklight: Tango team has been sent to find recently missing Colonel Klein and his personal Blacklight team in the city of Balik. The country had recently broken out in war after the assassination of its president. The rebel group that had killed the president, The Order, is thought to have captured or killed the missing Blacklight team.

They prepare to attack the Order's headquarters when Blacklight Command informs them that the civilians have been infected with an unknown virus, causing them to attack everyone they encounter. As they engage The Order in combat, both sides are attacked by crazed civilians. Because the circumstances have changed, they are ordered to stop The Order at all cost.

Tango Down reinvents multiplayer FPS and takes the excitement to another level with “NetWar”: a hyper realistic battlefield that lets you fight tomorrow’s conflicts with or against your friends in the gritty Blacklight universe. Play as either the ‘Blacklight’ – an advanced U.S military elite unit or ‘The Order’ – composed of ex-special forces members and assassins.

Blacklight is a covert ops unit that places the most advanced U.S. military technology in the hands of the finest soldiers in the world. Hyper reality visors, reactive armor and digital grenades are just a few of the cutting edge weapons that make these next gen warriors the most elite fighting force in the world.

The team has been brought in to investigate the disappearance of one of their own; Colonel Klein and his team of Blacklight operatives. On the ground, the Blacklight team has found that things have quickly deteriorated and their search for Klien has evolved into their battle against The Order.

Soldier Customisation: As players play the game and earn experience they will unlock weapon presets and the attachments contained in those presets. In the Armory, these unlocks will show up and players will be able to equip to one of their four loadouts either a weapon preset or fully customize their own weapon configuration. Loadouts also define the grenade and equipment loadouts, character armor, and camouflage.

Maps: some of the most interesting, spine-tingling map designs ever to be released on a multiplayer FPS game. Dark, gritty slums and the sound of scuttling rats will throw you into terror before you even encounter your opponents online.

Weapon Tags: Soldiers often like to personalize their standard issue weapons and have taken to purchasing trinket like charms that they can attach to the sling hook on the weapon. Make your weapon your own.

Game modes: different game modes in multiplayer allows for diversity and variety to keep the game fresh. Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Domination and more.
