We have a professional team of event managers and organisers who are experienced in designing and planning a program of imaginative team building activities, built around computer games that focus on multiplayer programs, some of which were originally designed for the military.
We therefore deliver a unique and business driven solution in the UK that is not only fun, but has an element of excitement and adventure. The programs promote team work, performance and development for groups of any size/gender and age. Our events management team will have the equipment set up for your arrival and after an introduction the format will be set. Delegates will then be orientated with the machines being taught basic controls and how to communicate effectively within the game. Teams may be selected in advance or on the day, each team will be assigned a member of the event management team as a "coach", this member of staff will provide useful help advice and visual aids to the players to help them work as a team and achieve success.
As the games begin and each scenario is played out the events management team will assess individual performance and team tactics and provide insight and knowledge on the fly to work on any weaknesses identified, as more games are played and the teams cohesion becomes paramount weaknesses become obvious and can be actively worked upon and rectified in discussion before the next game.
Many optional extras can be included into a corporate event with Gamerbase - breakfast/lunch or an evening meal can all be supplied at a variety of central London venues, after parties and licensed premises are also possible - taking our events to almost any location to cater for almost any set of requirements or budget.
One example of a game that can be used in this way is Battlefield 2142 - Set in a futuristic war torn environment, the game would see delegates as members of either the European Union or the Pan Asian Coalition. A team leader is nominated and it is this person's responsibility to communicate effectively with their team members as they alone have the bigger picture of what resource is needed where. Decisions are taken on an individual basis but each individual needs to communicate effectively and work together with their team mates to coordinate offensive and defensive moves. The controls, scenario and support will be provided at every step of the way by the teams coach's, and as the game progresses the team will learn to make the best use of the resources of the people in their team to achieve the set objectives. Scenario's can then be changed to force adaptation and creative thinking as a unit.
